Celtic Cross - Love Knot

The meaning of the Celtic Cross is rich with legend and symbolism. Some believe that the four arms represent the four directions of the compass: North, South, East & West. Others believe that they stand for the four elements: Earth, Air, Fire & Water. It is even thought that they may represent the four parts of man: Mind, Body, Soul & Heart. It is thought that the ring might represent the sun, moon, eternity, unending love, or a halo. The Celtic Cross is generally identified with the Scottish, Irish and Welsh heritage, where some of my roots are firmly attached, and this my interpretation.
